A leading European event in nanotechnology
The ALCOVE project will be represented at NANOTEXNOLOGY 2026, one of Europe’s largest events dedicated to nanotechnologies, organic electronics, and nanomedicine.
This international event gathers more than 2,000 researchers, engineers, and industry stakeholders through a full week of conferences, summer schools, exhibitions, and networking activities.
Key components of the event include:
- the ISFOE symposium (Flexible Organic Electronics),
- and the ISSON summer school, focused on nanoscience and its applications.
A scientific contribution on sensor development
In this context, Théo Forestier (IMT Nord Europe) will present his PhD research through a poster presentation.
His work focuses on the development and improvement of sensors, which are central to the functioning of the electronic nose developed within the ALCOVE project.
These research activities are closely aligned with the event’s core topics, including
- nanomaterials,
- sensors and biosensors,
- and flexible electronic systems [nanotexnology.com]
Research aligned with ALCOVE objectives
Within ALCOVE, the performance of the device strongly depends on the quality of the integrated sensors.
This work contributes to:
- improving sensor sensitivity and reliability,
- optimizing their ability to detect relevant compounds,
- and strengthening the overall robustness of the system in preparation for clinical studies.
nternational visibility and collaboration
Participation in NANOTEXNOLOGY 2026 provides an opportunity to:
- showcase ALCOVE’s scientific progress,
- engage with the international nanotechnology community,
- and strengthen the link between research and technological innovation.
