Science festival at Lille university Hospital – ALCOVE in the spotlight!

·

On Tuesday, 7 October, as part of the Fête de la Science, a project presentation session was organised for professionals and visitors at Hôpital Huriez, on the Lille university Hospital campus.

Among the speakers, François Sihrener, ALCOVE Project Manager, took on the challenge of the Pecha Kucha format — a dynamic 6‑minute‑40 presentation with 20 slides shown for 20 seconds each — to introduce the ALCOVE project.
This 2025 edition also had the pleasure of welcoming science journalist Laurence Serfaty!

A great opportunity to give visibility to this ambitious project, which aims to enable early detection of lung cancer, one of the leading causes of mortality in Europe and a particularly pressing issue in Hauts‑de‑France, Grand Est, and Belgium.

A high‑impact project driven by cross‑border and interdisciplinary collaboration!
