Lille University Hospital (CHU de Lille), coordinator of the ALCOVE project, had the honour of taking part in the Annual Forum of the OFBS, held at the Mouscron Hospital Centre.
On this occasion, the ALCOVE Project Manager presented the ambitions of this cross‑border research programme, which aims to improve the health of citizens across the Franco‑Belgian territory.
It was a valuable opportunity to share the project’s challenges, key issues and perspectives, while strengthening connections with major healthcare stakeholders in the region.
The discussions were particularly insightful, with contributions on:
- The history and achievements of the OFBS through the INTERREG programmes
- Legal aspects of cross‑border healthcare provision
- A roundtable on organised screening programmes, a topic of particular interest as part of our reflection on future lung cancer screening strategies
