Yesterday, the 2nd Interreg Steering Committee and COPIL of the ALCOVE project took place, bringing together our partners and Interreg representatives.
A crucial moment to openly share our progress, jointly address the challenges we face, and explore the solution pathways we are building together.
Prof. Stéphane Hulo (Lille University Hospital), project coordinator, opened the meeting by highlighting this pivotal stage, positioned at the intersection of technological challenges and the administrative complexity inherent to clinical studies.
He reiterated our collective ability to capitalize on our scientific achievements, collaborative methods, and the strong momentum that has been driving ALCOVE since its inception.
Among the major highlights: the upcoming valorization of CATOCOV results, made possible thanks to the recent database freeze — an important milestone toward a first scientific publication.
A warm thank you to all Work Package Leaders for the quality of their presentations and their unfailing commitment, and to all partners for their continued engagement.
A special thank you to Materia Nova for welcoming us in their facilities in Mons — with the added bonus of a beautiful sunny day that made this meeting even more enjoyable.
And of course, thank you to the Interreg representatives, who are deeply committed to monitoring our progress, assessing the impact of our actions, and guiding the project through its key milestones. Their presence and constructive feedback are invaluable in strengthening the coherence, ambition, and cross‑border reach of ALCOVE.
These discussions remain essential to ensuring full transparency across all dimensions of the project and staying on course toward our shared objectives.
On to the next steps — with the same ambition, rigor, and confidence in the value of what we are building together!
